Between soy candles and wax melts, there is no denying that both options are popular choices for enhancing ambiance and adding fragrance within your home, study or other areas. However, in spite of these traits both share, there are differences between the two.
While soy candles has a sick and is burned with a flame, wax melts have neither a wick nor a flame. Our soy candles are made of 100% soy wax while our wax melts are made of 100% coconut soy wax blend.
Also, while our soy candles have a strong fragrance, wax melts have a higher concentration of fragrance oils. So they release a stronger scent. Wax melts can be safer than soy candles because with an electric wax melt warmer, they do not have an open flame unlike our soy candles which makes it safer for children and pets. Wax melts not only has a stronger fragrance than soy candles. But our wax melts can last up to 72 hours. In contrast, our 16oz candles can burn up to 64 hours. They are affordable as well. Whilst our 16oz candles are $30 dollars, our wax melts are $5 dollars. They are also convenient because like I've said you don't have to light them up like you do soy candles. You simply use a wax warmer.
What is a wax melt warmer?
A wax melt warmer is a device used to warm wax melts. There are two types: An electric wax melt warmer and a tealight wax melt warmer. With an electric wax melt warmer, you plug it in, put one wax melt cube on top of the warmer and it will warm up the wax melt. The tealight wax melt warmer you place a tealight candle inside the wax melter. Then place a cube of a wax melt on top of the wax melter. For those who are safety conscious, the electric wax melt warmer is the safest choice. You can buy one that requires a 25 watt E12 Edison light bulb. They are available at places like Temu, Walmart and Dollar Tree.
